     Bauer Communication has created the Revive Press for publishing and distribution of books from
  authors who have a criminal record and/or have been incarcerated in a jail or prison.

     Most publishers will not let you past the background check with any kind  of criminal record. We are
  interested in who you are, not who you have been. Everyone makes mistakes and has a past. What
  you do with your future ultimately determines who you are.

    Webster’s Dictionary definition:  Revive
    To Return to life, To recover life or strength, To live anew

     Revive Press provides opportunities for all of those descriptions. If an author wants to change their life
  for the better and put their indiscretions behind them and live anew as a productive individual, through
  the Revive Press, Bauer Communications welcomes their submissions.

     Many famous authors and individuals have had brushes with the law and have been in jails and prisons.
  A few of these include: Henry David Thoreau, Miguel de Cervantes ( Don Quixote ), Machiavelli, John
  Bunyan ( Pilgrim’s Progress ), Oscar Wilde, Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Sir Walter Raleigh and even
  much of the Bible was written from prison.

     Some of the above mentioned were wrongly persecuted and the Revive Press is in no way a vehicle to
  condone or glorify criminality. It is about second chances.
